This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through our online store.

1. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

If you are a consumer and you purchase goods online, you have the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 calendar days from the day you, or a third party indicated by you, receive the goods, unless an exception applies under applicable law.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract within the 14-day period by contacting us at:

You may use a withdrawal form or send us a clear statement by email confirming your decision to withdraw from the purchase.

2. Food and Meat Products

For food products, including beef jerky, meat snacks and other sealed edible products, returns are only accepted if the product is unopened, unused, in its original sealed packaging, and suitable for return.

For health, hygiene and food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of food products if the original packaging or seal has been opened, damaged, removed or otherwise broken after delivery, unless the product is defective, damaged, unsafe, or the wrong product was delivered.

Products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly may not be eligible for return under the right of withdrawal.

3. Damaged, Defective or Wrong Products

Please inspect your order immediately after receiving it.

If your item is defective, damaged, unsafe, or if you received the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible at smartbuy.latvia@gmail.com and include:

your order number;
photos of the product and packaging;
a description of the issue.

We will review the case and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, refund or another lawful solution.

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

4. Conditions for Eligible Returns

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

in the same condition as received;
unused and unopened;
in its original packaging;
with all labels, seals and protective packaging intact;
accompanied by proof of purchase.

Items sent back to us without first contacting us and receiving return instructions may not be accepted.

5. Return Shipping

Unless the product is defective, damaged, unsafe, or the wrong product was delivered, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

If the return is caused by our mistake or by a defective or damaged product, we will provide instructions on how the return or replacement will be handled.

Returned goods must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you informed us of your decision to withdraw from the contract.

6. Refunds

After we receive and inspect the returned goods, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless you expressly agree otherwise.

We will issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you provide proof that the goods have been sent back.

Standard delivery costs paid at the time of purchase may be refunded where required by law. Additional costs for express, premium or non-standard delivery methods are not refundable beyond the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us.

Please note that banks and payment providers may need additional time to process the refund.

7. Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct exchanges.

If you wish to replace a product with another item, please contact us first. In most cases, the fastest solution is to place a new order after the return or refund has been approved.
