Products & ingredients
Is it real meat?
Yes — real meat from the EU, turned into jerky and meat sticks in Latvia by the producer SIA “Gaļas pārstrādes uzņēmums Nākotne”. It takes 210 g of beef to make 100 g of Beef Jerky Original and 153 g for the flavoured beef jerky; pork jerky uses 250 g of pork, beef sticks 170 g of beef, pork sticks 160 g of pork and chicken sticks 179 g of chicken per 100 g.
What flavours and products do you offer?
Beef jerky in Original, Jalapeño, Barbeque and Teriyaki; pork jerky; a range of beef and pork meat sticks (Bacon, Paprika, Cheese & Chives, Sour Cream & Onion, Thai Sweet Chilli and more); chicken sticks; and mix bundles (Party Mix, Beef Mix, Stick Mix). Every pack is 8 × 35 g.
What's the difference between jerky and meat sticks?
Jerky is a firmer, chewier dried-meat snack. Meat sticks are a softer, ready-to-eat stick format that's easy to portion and carry. Both are real meat — pick jerky for a classic chew, sticks for a softer everyday snack.
Is jerky a high-protein snack?
Yes. Per 100 g, our beef jerky contains 33.9–41.6 g of protein, pork jerky 53.7 g, beef sticks 30 g, chicken sticks 28.1 g and pork sticks 18.6 g — enough for every product to count as “high in protein” under EU rules. The full nutrition table is on each product page. Our products are food snacks, not a medical product or a substitute for a varied, balanced diet.
Where can I find ingredients and allergens?
Every product page lists the full ingredients, allergen information and nutrition values. If anything is unclear before you order, email us and we'll help.

Storage, returns & contact
How should I store it, and how long does it keep?
Unopened packs keep without a fridge at +2 to +25 °C until the best-before date printed on the pack — usually 12–24 months from production for jerky and 12 months for meat sticks. The best-before date is printed on every pack. Once a pack is opened, eat it within 72 hours — each 35 g portion is easy to finish in one go. The small oxygen-absorber sachet inside the pack is not edible.
Can I return an order?
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from delivery. Each pack (box) contains 8 individually sealed 35 g pouches. As these are sealed food products, a pouch opened after delivery can't be returned on taste alone; unopened pouches can be returned, even if other pouches from the same pack have been opened. If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us with a photo and we'll arrange a replacement or refund. Returns are free: contact us first and we'll send you a prepaid return label.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?
Yes — for wholesale, bulk or resale enquiries, email info@thejerky.world with roughly how many packs and which products you're interested in, and whether you need delivery or pickup. We'll follow up with a quote.
How do I get in touch?
Email info@thejerky.world — we're happy to help with products, orders, allergens, delivery or returns.
