This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through https://thejerky.world. The seller is SIA SmartBuy, registration number 40203098869, legal address Duntes iela 7A, LV-1013, Riga, Latvia, trading as THE JERKY.

1. Shipping destinations

We ship to destinations that are available at checkout. Our primary configured EU markets include Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany. Additional destinations may be available if shown at checkout.

Delivery availability, delivery methods, prices, taxes and currency are determined by the checkout and Shopify Markets settings for your destination.

2. Processing time

Orders are usually processed within 1-3 business days after order confirmation and successful payment, excluding weekends and public holidays. Processing may take longer during peak periods, stock checks, address verification, payment review or circumstances outside our control.

3. Delivery methods and delivery times

Available delivery methods depend on the destination and the options shown at checkout. Delivery estimates shown at checkout are estimates only and may vary due to carrier workload, public holidays, weather, customs processing, incomplete address information or other circumstances outside our control.

If no specific delivery period is agreed, consumer orders will be supplied within the period required by applicable law.

4. Delivery address

You are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address, phone number and email address. If delivery fails because the address or contact information is incorrect or incomplete, additional re-delivery or return costs may be charged where permitted by law.

5. Risk of loss or damage

For consumer orders, the risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes to you when you or a person designated by you receives the goods, unless you independently arranged delivery with a carrier that was not offered by us.

6. Customs, duties and import restrictions

For deliveries outside the European Union, you are responsible for checking whether the ordered food products may be lawfully imported into the destination country. You may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, inspections or other local charges imposed by the destination country or delivery provider.

We are not responsible for delays, refusals, seizures, additional costs or non-delivery caused by customs procedures, import restrictions, incorrect customer information or local laws of the destination country.

7. Damaged or missing parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, incomplete or appears to have been tampered with, contact us as soon as possible at info@beefjerky.world. Include your order number and photos of the parcel, product, packaging and shipping label.
